Hey all, this is a clear explanation of how optometrists got to this point after decades, and have now been left with no choice but to stop seeing all OHIP-eligible patients on September 1st.

This affects anyone under 19, and those 65 and over, and some 20-64 with certain medical conditions.

Sadly, Ontario optometrists have reached a breaking point after decades in this system, with no confidence that the government is willing to work with us.
